Greetings members,There has been some confusion about health benefits ending on May 31st for employees that received a pink slip. I am pleased to inform you that the executive board has clarified the confusion with HR and that your health benefits will continue through June 30th.
The following information is provided from HR:
11-pay employees will be covered with district health insurance through June 30 and if laid off from that point, will not have benefits after that date.
12-pay employees will be covered with district health insurance through June 30 and if laid off from that point, will not have benefits after that date.
Retirees will be covered with district health insurance through June 30 and then will go into retiree benefits if eligible.
